Guided Imagery and Yoga Nidra are effective tools that can take your practice to a deeper level. If you are interested in learning how to use imagery and Yoga Nidra as a craft to improve your ability to lead savasana or a meditation practice this is the training for you. This 3-day immersion will be comprised of lecture and practice. You will leave this training with the tools to effectively take your clients or students on calm, relaxing and peaceful journeys.

This training is for Yoga Teachers, Doulas, Therapists, Nurses, Meditation Teachers or anyone else who is looking to learn additional skills for their toolboxes.

-How to deliver an effective journey

-Vocal range and patter delivery

-What type of script to use or create

-Learn the most effective language to use

-How to hold space for emotional experiences

Level 2 of the Yoga Nidra and Guided Imagery Teacher Training will take you deeper into the craft and skill of guiding people to their deepest depths.

Whether you are a master of the pen or not a writer at all, the program was created to help you formulate scripts that capture your authentic voice. You will walk out of training with 3-5 original scripts written by you.

You will learn:
Script Development
-Modify pre-existing script to reflect your authentic voice
-How to formulate original scripts

Yoga Nidra and Guided Imagery Workshop
-Workshop templates
-Create original and authentic workshops

The art of audio recording
-Basic tools to use
-Possible distribution channels

Refining your voice
- Feedback on journey deliver in person at workshop
-Assessment of delivery in recorded journey
-5 hours of practicum

You’ve now learned the art, science and history of Yoga Nidra and Guided Imagery, you’ve honed your craft in writing unique authentic journeys within. It’s now time to personalize the journey. In this training you will develop skills to create journeys based on conversations with your clients and students.

You will learn:

Active listening skills

How to personalize the journey

How to apply active listening skills in groups

How to apply active listening skills one-on-one

How to use improvisation to create a unique experience

Scope of practice regarding active listening.

Level 3 training is only available for those who have completed modules 1 and 2 OR have been certified in another meditation or Yoga Nidra training and have been teaching meditation for at least one year and completed level 2 with Thea. The 85 hour training certificate only applies if all levels are taken with Thea.

This training qualifies for Continuing Education through Yoga Alliance: 20 CEUS

This module is for those who are ready to bring all the elements that they have learned together with guidance through mentorship, and supported content. This is the element of the training where knowledge turns into practice, and the student becomes the teacher.

Trainees will:

• Further develop content

• Cultivate offerings

• Two mentor meetings with Thea in person or via internet

• Meet with group

• Submit scripts, and recordings for feedback

• Film one class or private session leading meditation

• Practicum: complete 10 hours of teaching meditation

Training dates:
Day 1 5/3/20 12pm-4pm
Day 2 5/10/20 12-4pm
Day 3 by Appointment Mentor Session
Day 4 by Appointment Mentor Session

All sessions must be completed no later than 5/14/20, practicum hours must be completed by 7/1/20 for certification.

Thea Pueschel, C.Ht., E-RYT 500 is a master teacher trainer in Core Strength Vinyasa, a certified guided imagery facilitator and certified Hypnotherapist. The recesses of the subconscious and the ability to affect change have been a life long fascination for Thea and the focus of her life’s work. She has delved into motivations, anchoring and directing the conscious and subconscious mind for nearly 20 years.

Accessibility note: There are 4 steps, a walk way, 1 step, and then 4 additional steps to get into the space.
